Practice Makes Perfect!

Hello again,

There must be a reason you keep clicking on these blogs, and I think that reason is to be successful. So let’s change our perspectives and become successful! As you may know I am working with the UnlockILM team through Keller Williams. This theory today is brought to you from Gary Keller.

There are tons of agents out there that are successful in what they do. I along with other people like Gary Keller believe it is because they share some of the same qualities. Those qualities include having the right mindset, attitude and approach to life. These qualities are ones that you acquire over time. Once you have them you will find you and your business thriving. Of course obtaining these doesn’t mean you magically become successful. You need to apply it to your life every day. Being a successful Real Estate agent doesn’t happen overnight, and it certainly doesn’t happen by just passing a few tests. You need to work at it. There’s an analogy that sports and Real Estate go hand in hand. That is because they both require effort. In college I ran Track and Field, and I knew if I wanted to be able to competitive at the collegiate level I needed to practice every day. I needed to work at mastering running techniques if I wanted to outrun my peers. You can’t just sit around and then expect to run super-fast at Track meets. It just doesn’t work like that. Everything worth having needs a little time and effort. It’s just like Real Estate, you can’t expect clients to just come to you. You have to practice your scripts and your delivery to attract and keep those clients. You do so by having the right mindset, attitude, and approach to life, along with applying them effectively. Make sure you avoid practicing to get it right, and aim to practice so you never get it wrong!
